Mentions

Lightworks supports GitHub user mentions inside documents. Type @ followed by a username to tag a collaborator inline.

How it works

Typing @ in the editor opens a suggestion dropdown populated with members of your connected GitHub organization. Select a user to insert a mention chip showing their avatar and username.

Mentions are stored in markdown as plain @login text and rendered as interactive chips in the editor and read-only views.

Appearance

A mention chip shows the user's GitHub avatar alongside their username. Hovering a chip opens a card with their GitHub profile details.

Where mentions work

Mentions can be inserted anywhere in the body of a document. They are not available inside frontmatter property fields.
